Serving as Co-Directors, we appreciate your interest in the University of Texas at Austin MD/PhD Dual Degree Program.  This innovative program provides the finest training with two UT campuses working jointly for students to achieve the highest potential in medical science.  We are deeply committed to supporting our students in the pursuit of a dual MD/PhD degree that will enable them successful and rewarding careers as a physician scientists.

In the course of our research endeavors as faculty at The University of Texas at Austin and The University of Texas Medical Branch we have found that training as a physician scientist opens many doors to challenge and discovery.  We admire you for taking the first steps in an exciting journey toward a career in academic medicine.
